Valamar Amicor Resort - Stari Grad (Hvar)

A fantastic family getaway with excellent kids' club, delicious food, and helpful staff. Short walk to charming Stari Grad. The pool area was a hit! 🏖️

A brand-new hotel with good food. Responsive staff throughout our stay. The rooms with all the comforts. Variety of supplies in the room: climate control, TV, and a microwave. Peaceful and lovely location to Purkin Kuk.

The friendly staff made the trip

I enjoyed a spacious Villa 42 private pool with modern amenities, and the staff's warmth was very nice. The children loved the excellent kids club and the varied dining options. Breakfast was particularly good with fresh food selections, and the beachfront area was a highlight.

The villa offered a spacious and comfortable stay, with a lovely terrace for enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Breakfast featured fresh local products. The lack of dedicated beach amenities was disappointing, as it made lounging uncomfortable and swimming less enjoyable. Clearer allergen signage would have been beneficial during meals, as staff sometimes struggled to identify ingredients accurately.

The kids had a blast at the amazing water slides and the clean, spacious family suite was a perfect retreat. The staff arranged a good birthday cake for my daughter. Nearby Stari Grad is a fine 15-minute stroll by the water, and the buffet had a great variety, especially the fresh grill options.

Kids loved the beach access and water slides, but fitness club equipment was limited.

The immediate access to a waterpark was a game changer. I also appreciated the clean accommodations with plenty of space for relaxation.

The dining options were pretty limited, with only one restaurant on-site, which could get monotonous. Finding a spot to lounge on the beach was a hassle, as the area lacked proper amenities and loungers came with extra fees. The noise from local visitors accessing the facilities reduced the tranquil atmosphere I was hoping for. It was also frustrating that cleaning services often happened later in the day, which isn't great for families trying to keep on a schedule.

Perfect family escape!

We had a blast staying in a cozy suite for our fam! The staff was super friendly and always ready to help. The kids loved the pool and the play areas. The food was tasty, especially the special diet options they offered. Just wish the Wi-Fi was a bit better for streaming at night.

Great water slides, convenient beach access, lovely playgrounds, and spacious family rooms. Special thanks to Ante who arranged a surprise cake for my daughter's birthday!

Would recommend for a weekend excursion

Spacious suite, good buffet, and a fine outdoor swimming pool made our stay enjoyable, with the kids especially loving the children's play area, and the quick access to the beach further enhanced our experience.

The rooms at Valamar Amicor Green Resort are modern and very comfortable. the location is peaceful and wonderful, just a short walk from the Taxi Boat.
